I love money. I love everything about it. I bought some pretty good stuff. Got me a $300 pair of socks. Got a fur sink. An electric dog polisher. A gasoline powered turtleneck sweater. And, of course, I bought some dumb stuff, too.
I made my money the old-fashioned way. I was very nice to a wealthy relative right before he died.
When I dare to be powerful – to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.
Our incomes are like our shoes; if too small, they gall and pinch us; but if too large, they cause us to stumble and to trip.
About the time we can make the ends meet, somebody moves the ends.
It’s good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.
The only important thing in a book is the meaning that it has for you.
